Ms. Gabby Weierbach, M.A. is a practicum student clinician who enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, and families, as well as conducting comprehensive psychological assessments. Ms. Weierbach values the development of a strong therapeutic relationship and works to foster a collaborative and trusting environment where her clients feel safe to engage in self-exploration and awareness. Ms. Weierbach takes an interpersonal/relational approach to therapy while also incorporating strategies from family systems, cognitive-behavioral, and acceptance and commitment theories. She has experience with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relational and adjustment difficulties.
Education and Career Background
Ms. Gabby Weierbach, M.A. is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree at Auburn University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and then moved to North Carolina to earn a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Western Carolina University. She has worked in a community mental health clinic and college counseling centers providing a variety of psychological services including individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults, family therapy, group therapy, and psychological assessments for a variety of presenting concerns. As a practicum student clinician, Ms. Weierbach will be providing services under the supervision of Dr. Nikki Stillo, Ph.D.
